2.Kabuki Brush:

This bushy fluffy brush is what I used for almost any makeup application when I was “Unaware” of right makeup techniques. I believe this brush alone gives me the pro Makeup artist feeling. With Kabuki brush, you can apply bronzer along the hairline, cheekbones, temple, and jawline.
Simply put- apply it in the shape of 3.

4.Angled Blush Brush :

This one is a must-have if you are into using blush. You will not notice the difference it does to the blush application until and unless you use it and see the results yourself. The bristles are cut in an angled way which makes application of blush on the apples of your cheeks very easy and right. You should not end up looking like a clown and holding this one at an angle helps glide the product on the right curves evenly.

5.Concealer Brush:

This again is a must if you tend to conceal area around the eyes or any small curves like around lips and nose. The point of having this small tapered brush it to reach the nooks corners and apply product evenly without going overboard or patchiness in the application. This is very important if you tend to go for Eye makeup or have dark circles to be covered without making it look like a big task.

7.Blending Brush:

All Makeup artists stress on the art of Blending. At the end, your make up should not look patchy, or undone or leave any rough edges. For a soft look, Blending is a must. That makes Blending brush the most important one in your Vanity Kit. Just move the brush in circular motions in your eye crease till you achieve a soft look.

8.Smudging brush :

Is Smoky eye Look your favorite? This trend is here to stay and achieving it is even more simple now all thanks to the Smudging brush, Bristles on this brush are short and thick, concentrated in a way that it loosely wipes away the makeup, does not exactly blend but makes a thick pigment wash across the eyelid.

9.Eyeliner Brush:

This has made achieving right winged eyeliner look very easy for me. You might have seen these angled eyeliners brushed with a Gel eyeliner pot. Just dip the angle in Gel or color of your choice and line the lash line, Now keeping the angle at the corner of your eyes pull it away keeping the angle intact, Go over this line with a softer hand now to achieve the dramatic winged look.

10.Fan Brush:

I remember using this brush in school while painting to create textures or to lightly remove any excess color. Guess what? It serves the same purpose in Makeup as well. Post Eye Makeup if there is anything on your cheeks or neck just dust it lightly with this brush. This makes Highlighter application also very easy without leaving a risk of applying too much of a Highlighter.

Now many tend to let this option go, especially with so many lipstick formulas coming in nobody really wants to go back to brush to apply lipstick. If you wish to achieve a properly finished lip and make lipstick long lasting then this brush is a must. Also if you tend to share your lipsticks with others, it is better to go with this lining brush to avoid any infection.

14.Mascara Brush or Mascara Wand:

Although many mascara bottles come with a brush of its own, it is not practical to use it for lashes as well as brows. Plus there is always a chance that you want a voluminous lash look but the wand existing in the tube has lesser and wider bristles, you can buy different mascara wands for this purpose. Plus I rarely go for mascara on a daily basis, just a dab of castor oil and dry mascara wand brushing the lashes does the job for me.
