8 Shocking benefits of Rose water you never knew!
If I had to think of the most versatile skin care product, apart from oils, of course, it would definitely be – Rose water. It is definitely a must have for your skin, hair, health care routine. One can use it from head to toe and its delicate fragrance is added benefit – relaxing and refreshing. Read ahead to know how you can incorporate this new regimen in your daily routine.
1. Eyes:
Dip two cotton pads in rose water and place them in a small bowl. Keep the bowl in the freezer for 5-10 minutes. Place these cool cotton pads over your eyelids for 10-15 minutes. You can do this every night before bed. Who says pampering yourself takes time?
2. Face :
This magic elixir helps to maintain the pH balance of your skin thus preventing acne and eczema. It also moisturizes, hydrates the skin. You can dip a cotton pad in rose water and rub it over your face. You can also freeze and make ice cubes out of it, wrap them in a cotton cloth and rub over your face.
3. Hair:
For greasy hair problems, one always resorts to oil control shampoos that make hair dry and frizzy. Instead, take rose water on a cotton ball and rub it on your scalp. Cover your scalp with this by parting your hair. Let stay for 15-20 minutes and wash with mild shampoo and rose water.
4. Conditioner :
A final rinse with a cup of rose water deep conditions your hair and also leaves a sweet rosy smell. You can even spray some on ends of hair to tame the frizz.
5. Makeup remover:
Mix rose water and jojoba oil, dip cotton pad and wipe away the makeup with it.
6. Sunburns:
Spray some of it on the affected area. It soothes and hydrates the skin.
7. Smelly feet:
Add some drops of jasmine oil to rose water and shake well. Spray on your feet and keep odor at bay.
8. Razor burns:
Rub some amount as after shave lotion to keep redness and rashes at bay.
