Just like we mentioned about growing popularity for Lakme 9 to 5 range lipsticks here we are now with a more detailed review on swatches and shades of their other popular range – Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick.

So as the name says 9 to 5, the shades in the creaseless range are targeted more towards working women and hence has a good mix of sober and bold colors. Besides, Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick has SPF 15, and nourishing oils like vitamin E and jojoba, olive oil. All this in INR 450 is really a budget-friendly option. I always get a guilt attack when I have to throw a lipstick I could not use completely before it’s expiry date and have paid a huge amount for it. So that is definitely not the case with INR 450.

Packaging:

Now the best factor of entire Lakme 9 to 5 range is their packaging, the rose gold colored cases look classy! The only down point is you cannot see the shade anywhere on the packaging except the name written at the bottom of a bullet, this is a con only if you stock on many from this range. I personally love the bullet and overall packaging is very sturdy and travel-friendly. Ordinary style of the packaging yet it looks very elegant over other lipstick packagings.

The Texture of Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick:

the formula of Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick is rich in vitamin E, olive and jojoba oil and hence has a good creamy texture, it glides easily on your lips without tugging. One thing I dislike in most of the shades is shimmer, many shades from Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick range have shimmer particles in it, and I personally am not a fan of shimmer lipsticks or gloss. So, this again is subjective. Otherwise, it has good texture and does not dry out your lips. The pigment is average, single swipe deposits enough color and multiple does not affect the application or look patchy.

1.Latte rules:

Very soft, nude brown that does not wash out the face completely but gives a sober soft look.

Best for people with warmer skin tones and being more towards peachy brown side works well for people with medium to fair skin.

2.Rosy Review:

This pink has more of purple tones to it which makes it more universal compared to other pinks in this range. It is neither too bright nor too light, should work fine for all Indian skin tones.

3.Pink Charge:

This pink shade has more of warm undertones and is more towards neon or Barbie pink side. Suits people with warmer skin tone or medium to fair skin.

4.Peach Path:

A slightly deeper nude brown than latte rules works fine for majority of the skin tones

5.Rose line:

This can be compared to a dry rose petal over a fresh rosy color, this makes it more universal compared to other shades of pink. Has more tones of blue or purple to it.

6.Ruby Result:

A regular basic red color that is neither too bright nor too dull, just the right amount of brightness. Suits people with warmer undertones.

7.Salmon State:

It has too much of shimmer in it, pink or purple or somewhere in between this shade does no justice with any skin shade. It makes application also a task because of so many shimmer particles in it. Does not do any justice to a majority of the skin tones.

8.Brick Lead:

This is a deep brick rustic pink, suits almost all skin tones and does not have as much shimmer as other lipsticks from this range.

A perfect wine color for you to sport on any party or occasion, take a break from regular shades and opt for this one, suits people with cooler undertones.

10.Flaming function:

This red is comparatively more bright yet not loud as it has cooler undertones. Suits almost all skin tones.

11.Apricot Ace:

Has too much of shimmer making the nude brown shade even duller and more towards grey side which I don’t like, might not really do much justice to any skin tone

12.Candy Commission:

Again a pink with shimmer more towards a pale peachy pink making it more suitable for fair skin tones.

13.Coral Craft:

Orange peachy shade but with shimmer in it and does not pay off good pigment in a single swipe. Should suit people with fair skin or warmer undertones.

14.Coral case:

A disappointing shade for me personally, peachy, orange should be more towards natural shade that makes the overall makeup look soft however this product has more of shimmer and less of pigment-making application little less smooth compared to other pieces from this range.

15.Pink Pursuit:

Again a light pink with more purple undertones to it but pale plus shimmer. This shade again fails to do much justice to skin tones but should suit people with warmer skin tones.

16.Mauve Spot:

Mauve colors are trending and this one is really a pretty mauve shade. It has more of brown tones to it and suits almost all skin tones

17.Rose Alert:

More of purple-pink that should not be too bright or loud and suits people with cooler undertones

18.Mauve progress:

Unlike mauve spot, this shade is more towards peaches than browns and hence a new shade for people with warmer undertones.

19.Fuschia field:

Very pretty hot pink shade with the right amount of brightness to it. Has more of purple or blue undertones which makes it suitable for majority of skin tones

A decent red, however, would prefer going for other two red options mentioned above, this red has cooler undertones and will suit people with medium to olive or dark skin tone.

Claims:

Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick claims to be a creaseless lipstick, that will cover your lip crease and guess what????

Reality:

It does not! Yes, sadly it does not cover the crease, in fact, the shades with shimmer particles in it make the crease appear more bad and gross.
