So for trying it out I recently got the VLCC Ayurveda Chandan and Kesar face wash. You also usually get it n sale on Nykaa, so that is an added bonus for sure. VLCC face wash review My experience:
The face wash is a golden yellow semi liquid consistency. When It comes to the fragrance, it does have a saffron sandalwood smell, although seems artificial. But as it’s not that over powering, it did not bother me much. So although the name of the products says it’s for “Natural fairness” I just don’t agree to those claims, neither our country’s obsession with fairness products.
But I will share my experience of this face wash with you for sure keeping this thought aside. From using it for the first time itself, I could see my face brightened and all refreshed. Honestly I was quiet impressed. It’s a soap free formula so it won’t lather much, but makes skin clean. And even though I have dry skin it didn’t dry out my skin further. All in all it really worked well for me.
Pros:
• Free from Parabens.
• No Synthetic Colors.
• MAny active ingredients are natural extracts.
• Makes skin feel clean and brightened.
• Cheap.
• You need to use very amount of product.
Cons:
• The scent might not be appealing to everyone.
Ratings:
4.5/5
Do I recommend?
YES! It does work well in making the skin clean, refreshed and brightened. Also, it’s ingredients did suit my dry and sensitive skin so I think it will work for most skin types. So sure go ahead give it a try.
Will I repurchase?
Yes I will. This face wash worked really well for me. It’s a budget product and does its work brilliantly, and is all natural so why not?
