Patanjali Activated Carbon Facial Foam review
Let us begin with this super ingredient floating all over the internet for its cleansing properties.
How does activated carbon/ Charcoal help your skin?
Toxins stick to the activated charcoal and this way it works as a deep cleanser and detoxifier. It is all-natural and won’t add new chemicals to your skin and hair when you use it.
Patanjali Activated Carbon Facial Foam –
Read ahead to know how fair Patanjali, along with above mentioned super ingredient, perform.
Firstly I haven’t used any other product from Patanjali except the aloe vera gel and activated carbon face wash. I use gentle cleansing or foaming lotions. I rarely get into soapy one. But I got this one in summers for a squeaky clean skin post my regular workout session. That means I use it only on workout days and only once a day. Other times gentle cleansers are my favorites,
Do consider the above while going through the Patanjali face wash review or more accurately foam:

Patanjali Activated Carbon Facial Foam comes in a black squeeze tube with click cap. The tube is average looking like most of the face wash tube available in the market.

INR 60 for 60gm (I find Patanjali face wash price very much within budget)

18 months

Aloe Baebadensis (aloe vera), Azadirachta Indica (neem),Aqua, Mentha Piperata (mint/phudina), Citrus Aurantifolia (lemon peels), Soft Soap Base, Honey, Dizzolidinyl Urea & IPBC, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Zinc Oxide, Activated Carbon, Sugandhit dravya- Q.S.
My experience with Patanjali Activated Carbon Facial Foam:
People with oily skin might consider this product as a boon! It leaves your skin clean, like seriously no trace of oil. For dry skin, it can lead to irritation. It was this drying effect that never convinced me to use the product more than once. I am not into using bar soaps on the face, have you noticed the effect a bar soap leaves on your facial skin? It is similar to that one. I used it post my workout sessions which were fine but any day if I used it more than once it gave me very dry, dehydrated skin. Also, leaves a stretchy feeling. Smell is a big turn off: like a local bar soap.
I did not notice any reduction in acne or so. For me: herbal products mean gentle, this one for some reason did not look or feel like a herbal product or a gentle product. This product foams really well! Pea size quantity is enough for whole face. The gel has some shimmering particles in it – I wonder what and why! I don’t like anything except for chemical exfoliation beads in a cleansing product! I feel using this too often might disturb the pH balance of skin completely.

Grey gel with silver shimmer.
Notice the silver shiny product staining the cap: looks like silver shimmery paint: This makes me doubt the herbal part of Patanjali Activated Carbon Facial Foam.
Will I repurchase Patanjali Activated Carbon Facial Foam?
No, would prefer other deep cleansing products.
Do I recommend buying it?
If you wish to go for deep cleansing and activated charcoal combination within budget, then Patanjali Activated Carbon Facial Foam can be given a try.
