Lotus Herbals Pure Colors Lipstick – Tangerine (Lotus Herbals lipstick review)
We all are well aware of the Orange lip Craze! And summer is the best season to try on some peppy, bright shades. But not necessary that all bright shades suit your skin type. Experimenting with orange was really new to me and I did end up with shades that did no justice to my skin tone. During all the experimentation I noticed that I will need a shade with warm notes. With this, I would say I did find a shade which will suit most of the skin tones and best suited for Indian skin tone. And a plus point – it is a herbal cosmetic company. Here I am with Lotus herbals lipstick review in shade Tangerine.

Formula:
Lotus herbals lipstick has a soft formula, it glides on easily. There is no fragrance as such but a typical cosmetic smell that I personally am not a fan of, however, it doesn’t really bother or stay for a long time. The lipstick is transferable, which is disappointing, but I have noticed this with most of the bright shades: easily transferable compared to regular red and brown shades. Which is why going for liquid or lip creams is preferable when stocking on bright shades. I cannot vouch on exact herbal-ness of this product but I have noticed that post this lipstick my lips don’t dry out. Also, it does not irritate the lips. The formula is definitely soft but it will look gross if you haven’t pampered your lips prior to its application, Being smooth and creamy it tends to settle in the crease of your lips. Being a reddish coral shade it goes well with all Indian skin tones. This shade is without any shimmer but the creaminess of the formula gives it a nice sheen to it when applied which is okay. The pigment is great, One swipe is all I need.

Will I repurchase this product?
Because of multiple formulas available in the market – long lasting, lip conditioning I don’t think I would go back to any older ranges, that being said I am not disappointed with the purchase. If I had to choose a shade from lipsticks without any long lasting or conditioning claims I would go again for lotus herbals lipstick. A soft dewy glowy makeup look with some golden glittery eye makeup and lotus herbals lipstick in Tangerine has been a good change for my otherwise heavy party makeup looks.
