Hi my Angels!! Having a good moisturizer in your daily skin care routine is a must. So I came across the lotus moisturizing cream for dry skin and thought of giving it a try. So let’s see lotus herbals nutramoist cream review and what is my take on it.

PRICE:

INR 395 for 50 grams. (I think they have hiked up the prices and its for INR 455)

PACKAGING:

It comes in a glass tub packaging with a golden twist on cap. I find the packaging very attractive and luxurious. The only problem being it’s not travel friendly as it might break.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

D.M. Water, Almond Oil, stearic Acid, tritacium vullgare(Wheat germ) oil, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Liquirice) extract, Alo barbadensis (Aloe Vera) extract, Hamamelis virginiana(witch Hazel) extract, emulsifying wax, oxybenzone, Gylecrin, cetyl Alcohol, octylemethoxycinnamate, Polysorbate 20, triethanolamine, titanium dioxide, prunus serotina(cherry) extract, prunus murne (plum) extract, alpha hydroxy fruit acids derived from Vatis Vanifera(grapes), tocopheryle acetate (Vitamin E Oil) methyl paraben, propyl paraben, fragrance.

MY EXPERIENCE:

So first of all , I love the packaging although it doesn’t really matter much as what’s important is the product that we are getting should be of good quality, but just putting it out there :D. The cream itself is very light pink in color and has a very mild sweet smell that I really liked.

The consistency of the cream is neither too thick nor too runny, it’s somewhere in between. It spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed quickly. (FYI I have dry sensitive skin type). So it moisturizes and hydrates the skin well, and keeps it supple for a good 3 to 4 hours.

Only a tiny amount is needed to cover my face and neck. I won’t recommend this product for people with oily skin though as it may feel heavy on the skin for them. It has spf 25 which is a good thing although you might need to use a sunscreen with higher spf as this might not be enough.

But still a positive as I keep forgetting to apply my sunscreen all the time, and this will ensure some protection against the sun. All and all lotus day cream for dry skin does work well, and I am satisfied with the product.

PROS:

• Moisturizes the skin well.
• Makes skin soft and supple.
• Has a mild sweet fragrance.
• Contains spf 25.
• Easily available online and in stores.

CONS:

• It has parabens.
• Can be expensive as they have increased the price.
• Might not suit people with oily skin type.

Yes. As it is a water based product it can be used in summers as well.
