Foundation means Lakme Foundation. We never knew the brands other than Lakme for the foundation. Lakme is so blended with the cosmetic name that we have to do efforts for taking the name of some other brands.

So, back to the Foundation again. It has 4 variants Pearl, Marble, Shell, Coral. Today I am going to review Marble.

 The Packaging of Lakme Liquid Foundation:

It comes in a simple glass bottle with a Maroonish brown screw cap. The packaging is same for so many the years. But it looks stylish. You can carry it in your vanity bag but handle it with care due to a glass bottle. Screw type cap makes it spill free.

My Personal Experience:

I have selected Marble shade. It is suitable for Fair to wheatish skin tone. The color of foundation is brownish wheatish. It glides on skin very easily and blends into skin. But it gives you a whitish look after applying it. So be careful while applying this shade. Take a little amount of it and apply it thoroughly on the skin. I suppose that maybe the darker shades won’t have this sort of problem. It helps in hiding some marks on your face too. A small amount is sufficient to cover the face, neck area. The staying power is good it is around 4 to 5 hours. It is not much water resistant property. But it is okay.

Pros:

• Easily available.
• Very Light texture.
• Glides easily and blends so smoothly

Cons:

• Not very travel-friendly due to Glass bottle (handle with care)
• Leaves a whitish tint behind

Overall, I would recommend the Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation, (Marble) for Fair to Wheatish skin tone. It has an affordable price. It blends smoothly into skin and makes your skin even tone and glowing.
