Keeping this in mind, I am going to review one of the Lakme Lipsticks I bought recently that is Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Red Chaos. It comes in a beautiful rose gold color bullet, sturdy, travel-friendly stick with Lakme 9 to 5 printed on it in white.

INR 450 for 3.6 grams

Ingredients:

Contains vitamin E and wheat germ oil. It has a shelf life of 24 months.

Formula:

The formula of Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color is comfortable and light weight. Also, its scent is mild and doesn’t bother. It doesn’t dry out the lips but for already dry and chapped lips it might settle down in the crease. A swipe of a lip balm before application should make things easier.

My Experience with Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Red Chaos:

The texture of the Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color is smooth, creamy, and glides on the lips easily. Despite being matte, it doesn’t dry out my lips. I have always been a fan of Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks. A single swipe of Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Red Chaos gives a very faint semi-sheer coverage. It is not highly pigmented like some other shades in this range but pigmentation can be increased a little bit with multiple swipes.

Red chaos is a level above peach in pigmentation with a pinkish tinge. Although it appears pure red inside the tube, it looks light peachy pink on the lips. It can last for about 4 hours if you are not eating or drinking. The color is not bold like the Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Red Coat, so you can easily wear it during office hours or for a casual day out.

Although the name is totally misleading, this is a good shade for an effortless and beautiful look. It gets cakey if loaded with multiple layers. So, don’t swipe too many times. If you want a brighter and darker shade, try Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color- Plum Pick or Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick- Shade M422.

Tip:

Exfoliate and moisturize your lips properly before application. Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Red Chaos looks really unflattering on dry and chapped lips.

In the picture, my lips appear a little glossy due to direct light falling on them. Also, I have applied lots of lip balm before applying the Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Red Chaos. Otherwise, it gives a perfect matte finish as you can see in the swipes.

If you have a fair to medium skin tone and are looking for a natural pinkish nude color then yes, I would recommend this Lakme 9to5 Lip Color. But if you are looking for some more pigmentation, then this shade from Lakme 9 to 5 color might not be right for you.
