My experience:

I have a combination skin with oily T-zone and dry cheeks. Up till now I have been using various setting powders but ended up with a chalky appearance even with a single swipe. However, this was not the case with Lakme compact 9 to 5. The powder is satiny smooth and application is very easy as the product just glides and settles on the skin. It has pleasant fragrance which disappears with an application and does not bother. Also, it does not leave any white cast on your skin post-application.
Lakme compact from 9 to 5 range do manage to control shine but not as claimed: “9 to 5.” It does the job of helping you survive a heavy-duty function for good 4 hrs and then one can touch up.
When it comes to coverage, this product alone without any foundation or concealer does not manage to cover spots. It should suit all skin types, but people with dry skin might prefer a moisturizer prior to any setting powder. For even better results you can try the baking method with this setting powder and dust it off with a brush. It will give you a flawless look.
