It’s A Pout Time- Sugar Vivid Lipstick Review: The Big Bang Berry
This very look of Sonam Kapoor in Cannes inspired me to ditch the reds and pinks and go for a darker berry or plum shade. We all know how all the berry colors are trending when it comes to lip colors and I tried my luck with Sugar Lipsticks. How did it work for me? Read ahead for a detailed Sugar Vivid Lipstick Review in shade The Big Bang Berry.
1.Packaging:
I love the Bullet, nothing fancy or shiny-rose gold, gold etc. Black, sturdy and boxy in shape. The product can be twisted up as in normal lipstick packing and has a click clap.
2.Price:
INR 599 for 3.5gm with a shelf life of 2 years.

4. Sugar Vivid Lipstick Review- My Experience:
The formula is amazing, glides smoothly, very rich and nourishing but does not bleed or is not extra creamy. The pigment in single swipe is really good. It has a good lasting power of 4-5 hours. And leaves a very natural berry tint when fading. It is the perfect shade for Indian skin tones. It does complete justice to people with lighter skin tone and with dusky skin tone. If you happen to prime your lips before its application it stays for longer duration and gives a good solid matte finish. The formula does not dry your lips. The best thing I like about these lipsticks is that it does not really have any fragrance, I love products without any strong fragrance.
I have to use coconut oil to take it off completely before retiring to bed, being a dark color it tends to stain your lips so I would suggest you do the same. In fact, coconut oil cleanses your lips so well that it might become your regular go-to option to take off any lipstick.
I have seen all my friends using this shade and it does justice to all skin tones.
5.Pros:
- Strong, Sturdy packaging.
- No fragrance.
- Smooth but not creamy or sticky.
- Compliments all skin tones
- Very well pigmented
- Does not dry lips
- Leaves beautiful stain
- Has good staying power
6.Cons:
- Being dark color it tends to stain lips so removing it with makeup remover or oil is a must
- Pricey
7.Do I recommend buying?
If you want to make a statement this festive season then this shade is a must, gives a good sultry finish to your otherwise regular makeup.
8.Will I repurchase?
Yes
9.Rating:
4.9/5
