So I have had mixed opinions about body shop products. Some of them work really well, others are just okay and not worth the price. Today I have for you the body shop strawberry body butter review. The strawberry range has been one of the bestsellers so I wanted to give it a try, here are my thoughts on it.

Price:

INR 495 for 50 ml.

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water) (Solvent/Diluent), Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter) (Emollient). Cyclomethicone (Emollient), Glycerin (Humectant), Theobroma cacao (Cocoa Butter) (Emollient). Glyceryl Stearate (Emulsifier), PEG-100 Stearate (Surfactant), Cetearyl Alcohol (Emulsifier). Lanolin Alcohol (Stabiliser/Emollient), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Parfum (Fragrance), Methylparaben (Preservative).Fragaria ananassa (Natural Additive), Propylparaben (Preservative), Xanthan Gum (Viscosity Modifier), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent), Fragaria chiloensis (Strawberry Seed Oil) (Natural Additive). Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster), Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Rosmarinus officinalis (Natural Additive), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Citral (Fragrance Ingredient), Caramel (Colour), CI 14700 (Colour).

Packaging:

It comes in a red tub packaging. Has a screw on red cap. The tub is small and travel-friendly. I just find the tub packaging unhygienic. But for some reason, a lot of products by the brand to come in a tub packaging.

Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter Review: My experience

The body butter is light pink in color and smells like real strawberries. The texture of the cream is thick and gets absorbed into the skin really fast. I have dry sensitive skin, and it works perfectly for me. Although during summers people with oily skin might not like it. It keeps the skin hydrated for a long period of time. So, all in all, it is a really good body butter.

Pros:

Hydrates the skin well.
The fragrance is really nice.
Perfect for people with dry skin.
It’s a cruelty-free product.
Available on Nykaa easily.

Cons:

Contains parabens and alcohol.

Do I recommend?

Yes. It’s good body butter. And is recommended for people with dry skin. For everyone that have normal to oily skin. Can give it a try during the winter season.
