BODY SHOP SKIN DEFENCE REVIEW- MY EXPERIENCE:

body shop skin defence review

I got this product after reading so many positive reviews. The packaging of the body shop sunscreen is nice and I liked it. The product itself is white in color, but as soon as it comes in contact with the skin, it becomes watery.

I found this to be a good thing as it got quickly absorbed in the skin and had left no white cast or stickiness on the skin, just very hydrating! Also, the fragrance of the sunscreen is to die for, oh my god! It smells amazing when you apply it and the fragrance also lasts for quite some time.

I had such great hopes with this product when I first used it as it seemed to be perfect, BUT I was disappointed when the main claim regarding the product failed and that is it is a sunscreen that protects against the harsh UV A and UV B rays.

It did not really work that well for me to stop my skin from getting the sunburn that it usually gets. And this taught me a lesson that if a product is costly, doesn’t mean it will work for you. I have a sensitive skin and although it did not irritate my skin it didn’t work at all.

PROS:

• Wonderful Fragrance.
• Very light in texture
• Gets quickly absorbed into the skin
• It’s vegan
• Free from mineral oil

CONS:

• The main con of the product is that it doesn’t work, the claims turned out to be false for me.
• Expensive.
• Contains alcohol.

RATING:

2/5 (Just for the fragrance)

DO I RECOMMEND THE BODY SHOP SKIN DEFENCE?

No, I don’t. Buy it only if you want to throw your hard earned money :D, Better to go for the lotus gel sunscreen (here is the Lotus Sunscreen SPF 50 Review- Price, Pros, Cons) rather than this.

WILL I REPURCHASE?

As it is pretty clear from this body shop skin defence review NEVER! It is a very expensive product and if it doesn’t work I am not going to buy it again.

So did you find the body shop skin defence review helpful? Do let us know if you have used the product as well and how it worked for you.
