Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Review and Swatches- Tea Break:
A fine swatch of your favorite lipstick is an important part of your makeup. Just the other day I was looking for a day wear lipstick shade and I stumbled upon Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Tea Break. The Lakme 9 to 5 range has shades that would go well with many skin tones and is affordable. I hope this Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Review turns out to be helpful to you.
The packaging of this Lakme 9to5 lip color:
It comes in a rose gold bullet, sturdy, travel-friendly stick with Lakme 9 to 5 printed on in white.
Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Tea Break Price:
INR 450 for 3.6 grams
Contains vitamin E and wheat germ oil. Shelf life- 24 months.
The formula of Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color is comfortable and light weight. Also, its scent is mild. It doesn’t easily dry out the lips but for already dry and chapped lips it settles down in the crease. Swipes of a lip balm before application should make things easier for you.
‘Lakme Nine to Five brings you a range of 15 shades that sit on your lips all day long. Enriched with Vitamin E; it conditions your lips & softens them with wheat germ oil. So, perk those soft, smooth lips with a touch of matte.’
My Experience with Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Tea Break:
Lakme 9 to 5 Matte Lipstick Tea Break is smooth pink toned Nude Lipstick shade. Definitely, it will suit mainly fair skin tones. It looks best with bold smokey eyes.
The texture of the Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color is smooth, creamy matte texture applies easily on lips without dragging. Despite being matte, it doesn’t dry my lips. It is light weighted. But I would recommend that you should hydrate your lips with good lip balm before applying if you have extremely dry lips. I have always been one of a big fan of Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks but this one did not please me much.
Tea Break Shade will not suit most of the Indian Skin tones. It is good natural looking lipstick for Fair skinned beauties. This Lipstick disappears within 4-5 hours of application. But because of its a natural shade, it does not look shabby on fading and it is difficult to find any patchiness on lips.
The texture is creamy and covers the lips completely. It’s a boon for pigmented lips but just be alert to apply it well because over time it does settle into the lip lines, it’s more like a coat for covering up pigmented lips rather than a light sheer lipstick. This is my Lakme 9to5 lipstick review for the shde Tea Break.
Exfoliate and moisturize your lips properly before application. You should hydrate lips with good lip balm before.
Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick swatches:
In the picture, my lips appear a little glossy due to light falling on them. Also, I have applied about 2-3 layers of lip balm before applying the Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Tea Break. Otherwise, it gives a perfect matte finish.
Pros of Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Tea Break:
- Smooth and Creamy
- Easy to apply
- Does not transfer
- Does not feel dry on lips
- Mild fragrance
Cons of Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Tea Break:
- Disappears in few hours
- Very light in shade
- Strictly for fair or medium tone skin to some extent
Do I recommend buying Lakme 9to5 Lipstick Tea Break?
If you have a fair skin tone and are looking for a natural pinkish nude color then yes, I would recommend this Lakme 9to5 Lip Color. But if you are looking for more pigmentation, then this shade from Lakme 9 to 5 range might not be right for you.
