Hello all! I hope by this time, everyone is familiar with the immense benefits imparted by aloe vera for the skin. Well, I am too, and this is what prompts me to pick up skin care products with this special ingredient. Since it is the onset of summer I was thinking about switching from a moisturizing cleanser to a soothing facewash. That’s when I purchased the Himalaya herbals moisturizing aloe vera face wash from my nearby store. Let’s take a look at Himalaya moisturizing aloe vera face wash review and how the product turned out for me.
INR 50 for 50ml
The Himalaya herbals moisturizing aloe vera face wash comes in a tube packaging with a flip cap. The cap closes tightly, so the product won’t flow out when tossed and turned. Hence the packaging is travel-friendly.

Himalaya Moisturizing Aloe Vera Face Wash Review- My Experience:
Before diving into the Himalaya Moisturizing Aloe Vera Face Wash Review straightaway, I would like to tell you that since the Himalaya Purifying neem face wash turned out well for me, I had high hopes for this one too. Check out the full Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash Review!
Anyway, I Took out a small quantity of the Himalaya herbals moisturizing aloe vera face wash on my hand. Whenever I use a new product, I closely examine its texture and that’s what I did with this one. It has a light greenish white color and a whipped texture that spreads easily. A very small quantity is required to cover your entire face and lather it up.
After massaging my face in circular motions, I washed it off with water and my face was squeaky clean! I couldn’t see any trace of dirt. This face wash cleaned up my face real good without making my skin dry and flaky. I also felt a minty cooling sensation on my skin due to methanol as an ingredient just after I washed my face, which is perfect for summers!
On the downside, it is not as herbal as Himalaya claims it to be. Despite containing herbal formulations and aloe vera this contains quite a large amount of chemicals that really put me off. They may give instant excellent results but in the long run, using these chemicals on the skin is really not recommended.
- Easily available
- Perfect for all skin types
- Provides instant refreshment
- Cleanses well
- Spreads easily
- Not sulfate free (Contains Lauryl Sulfate)
Do I Recommend Buying Himalaya Moisturizing Aloe Vera Face Wash?
If you are looking for an affordable option to fully cleanse your face in summers and the chemicals don’t bother you much then go for it!
Will I Repurchase?
Since I am going for completely sulfate and paraben free products, no, I won’t repurchase this one. I am gonna try out something from Biotique.
