Did you know concealer keeps your eyeliner in place all day? Using a brush, dab and blend concealer directly under your lash line and your eyeliner will stay put all day.
2. MAKEUP HACK #2 – HOW TO MAKE YOUR EYES POP
Black eyeliner is a classic, but if you really want to make your eyes pop, use a color that really complements your eyes. Feeling extra adventurous?
- BROWN EYES = NAVY LINER
Navy is super wearable during the day and into the night. And, as opposed to black, midnight blues will read softer on warm brown eyes.
- HAZEL EYES = GOLD LINER
A warm metallic gold will accentuate the yellow flecks around the inner part of the iris, making them shimmer, and your eyes look even brighter. - GREEN EYES = PURPLE LINER
There’s nothing like a green-eyed girl with a purple accent. The red undertones in a deep plum will enhance your natural hues, while still feeling totally wearable. - BLUE EYES = EMERALD LINER
Cool blue eyes will pop against a contrasting but complementary deep green emerald shade, which will accentuate flecks of gold that might be hiding.

Don’t use the same concealer to cover both under-eye circles and pimples. Why?
Because your under-eye concealer, which should be a shade lighter than your skin tone, will highlight your pimple, not hide it. Instead, use a creamy cover-up concealer that matches your skin tone perfectly to conceal blemishes.
The best technique to cover up pimples is to layer your foundation first, then cover with skin toned concealer, and set with setting powder to ensure the blemish is completely covered and the product won’t budge.
4. MAKEUP TIP #4 – How to Choose the Perfect Foundation Colour for You
One thing I hate seeing is the wrong color foundation on someone’s face or when you see the distinct makeup line at the jaw line which clearly shows they are wearing the wrong foundation color. Do they not see it!!!
The perfect way to always get the best foundation color for you is to always test your foundation shade on your neck, not your arm. This will ensure you choose the perfect match. Get someone to help you pick the right color.
5. MAKEUP TIP #5 – USING MASCARA AS A LIQUID EYELINER
This is a good little trick. If you ever run out of liquid eyeliner or forget your eyeliner when traveling, just grab a small eyeliner brush and your mascara. Put some mascara on your brush and apply like a gel eyeliner. Works just as good. Hey, presto!
Wow, these are fantastic ideas for makeup! I have brown eyes and I do have a blue eyeliner but I use black mostly. Will try using blue more frequently now!
